Dear Baker-Butler Elementary School families,
Welcome to the 2019-2020 school year! Every Baker-Butler parent, as well as all teachers and staff, are automatically members of the Parent Teacher Organization. The goal of the PTO is to support the education of the students at Baker-Butler and foster a strong community among students, parents and teachers of our school.

The PTO organizes and sponsors family-friendly events to build and grow relationships within our school community. We also identify and support educational enhancements through a variety of fundraising efforts throughout the year. Last year the PTO was able to contribute significantly to field trips, teacher appreciation week, PE equipment, landscaping and classroom supplies.
All PTO programming and events are organized and run by volunteers, and are always a lot of fun! Please complete the Time and Talent Survey online at the PTO website (www.bakerbutlerpto.org) or via the paper copy included in your back-to-school packet, and let us know where you’d most like to get involved.
Please join us at our monthly PTO meetings! Hear what’s going on at the school, learn about upcoming events and engage in conversation with other members of the PTO community. As a parent of a BBES student, your input and participation is valuable and we want to see you there! Meetings will typically be held on the second Tuesday of every month at 6:30 pm in the Media Center. Due to Back to School Night, our first meeting will be held Tuesday, September 17th.
